This place is absolutely amazing. While it is away from the main tourist hub of Dist 1, in many respects that is a good thing. Still, it is within easy and safe walking distance of major sites (e.g. War Remnants Museum - 5 mins, Ben Tanh Market - 15 mins, Notre Dame - 20 mins), the street is very quiet and full of great eateries (ranging from super-budget cafes to gourmet restaurants). A Co-Op supermarket is 3 blocks away. Best of all is the space! For the price of a standard hotel room you get a full-blown apartment. Not to mention the little bonuses of free WiFi, fabulous staff and 25 litres of bottled water thrown in too!!! I'll be staying here every time I'm in HCMC if its not fully booked - as it should be! NOTE: If you want a hotel with all the trimmings, mini-bar, room service etc. then this place is not for you. If you want space, a quiet street and eateries nearby, this can't be beaten. I was a little hesitant at first to book this place on www.wotif.com as there were no other previous reviews of it on tripadvisor. I booked a 2 BR "Luxury Apartment" and was not dissapointed. The appartment is very modern and very spacious and has a full kitchen, big living room with balcony and 2 generous sized bedrooms (both rooms have queen size beds). I can't fault it but don't expect hotel services as this is SERVICED APARTMENT (ie not a hotel) and there is no pool. The hotel is located in district 3 on the opposite side of the Reunification Palace to District 1 so its not far from the action (about 20 mins walk or $1.20 in taxi). Ms Nguyen supervises the building office in the garage and was our point of contact between 8am and 5pm for anything we needed. If you are arriving after hours, the 24hr security guard at the front entrance will let you in and take you up to the apartment (he also takes the breakfast order slip from you the night before). All said, if you looking for a good value spacious 2 br apartment in HCMC then I have no hesitation recommending Saigon Apartments. Stayed October 2010, traveled with family

With no further questions helping us carry the bag and pass us the key to the apartment. Once I open the door it really wow me. It was amazing and really as shown on the website. The surrounding and ambience was superb. I really enjoyed my stay there. I will definitely recommend this place to my friend.

I was there early july 2012 and comin again end july 2012. The hospitality, cleanliness and frendly staff makes me dont think twice to head there again. Apt withnear by amenities and such a gud location for everything. will always recommend to other for those who are looking a value for money place to stay.

I was amazed at the quality and value of the apartment, the friendly and helpful staff who could all communicate in English. Thank god the location is quiet yet so close to wonderful eateries and live music venues. Appreciated the closness to all the well know icons of old Saigon. Would always go back.... great value and space to chill out.

I have been to this place twice over the last 2 years. It is an absolute hidden gem ,close to every amenities, taxi called at your door step at your request, security guards 24/7, eating places close by,quiet street ,the list goes on. Australian boss provides better than Australian standards in Australia. I have no hesitation to return each time I come back to Saigon. any english site is always a tourist trap. the prices here are nowhere to usual prices, there\'s no vietnamese paying $60 for internet or parking, in fact it is 10x less. appartments im checking are charging $5 for extras.. you better recognize.

It\'s relaxing. Whenever we go to SG we stay here. Relaxing and easy with all the set up around you. Coffee shop, breakfast, even hairdressers just cross the street. Simply the best.
